Now more than ever practising self care is important. Our community and the rest of the world feeling a very real sense of fear and panic during these uncertain times. Practising self care is important to monitor and maintain to ensure that you aren’t trying to pour from an empty cup. Looking after yourself will help you maintain your immune system and allow you to help others as needed.

It feels for the first time we are learning about and practising the art of social distancing, during these times it’s important to remain socially and self connected. Keeping in tunes with ourselves and our needs can help us navigate this uncertainty.

To keep self care simple for today’s post, you can begin by trying to structure a small sense of a routine and daily ritual. Keeping structure during uncertainty can help us maintain our health.

  • 15 minutes of meditation
  • 30 minutes of exercise
  • 15 minutes of reading a book
  • Writing out what you want to achieve today
  • Take a moment to journal

If you need assistance or someone to talk through during these times, reach out to family members or friends, or you an anonymously reach out to https://www.beyondblue.org.au/
